What is your minimum order quantity for OEM fishing tackle?
Rods start at 300 units per SKU. Reels and lures start at 500 units. We also take pilot runs of 100 to 200 units for seasonal tests or new-market validation — same NDA, same 4-checkpoint QC, and no minimum-order penalty for ordering light.
How much does a sample cost, and is the fee refundable?
Sample fees cover our actual cost of materials and labor, and vary by SKU — usually 50-300 USD for a rod, reel, or lure prototype. The full sample fee is credited back on your first bulk PO. First sample under 1 kg travels on us; heavier or multi-piece samples ship at cost.
What payment terms do you offer?
Standard: 30% T/T deposit against a signed Proforma Invoice, with the 70% balance due before shipment — after you sign off on pre-shipment inspection photos. L/C at sight is available for orders above 50,000 USD. For repeat clients on the third order onward, we can discuss extended terms.
How are you different from the factories behind Daiwa, Shimano, or other tier-1 brands?
Tier-1 factories run huge house-brand lines and usually won't take orders under a full container per SKU. We're built for smaller brands and regional distributors: MOQs from 300, pilot batches from 100, a project manager you can reach on WhatsApp, and NDA-protected designs that never end up in another client's catalog.
How long from design approval to a finished order?
Samples: 15-35 days after design sign-off. Bulk production: 30-60 days depending on volume, blank material lead times, and packaging complexity. Weekly WIP photos land in a shared drive — no chasing, no guessing.
Do you do full ODM, or only build to an existing spec?
Both. If you already have a tech pack, we build to spec. If you have a market gap and a rough price target, our 3-engineer R&D team develops the blank taper, the reel gearing, or the lure mould from scratch. Every design file stays confidential under NDA and is never shown to another client.
Can you handle packaging design and printing as well?
Yes — kraft eco boxes, magnetic gift boxes, retail blister cards, window boxes, tube cases, and full-color printed cartons with die-cut foam inserts. Artwork is developed in parallel with production so the boxes arrive in the same container as the product, not three weeks later on a separate shipment.
Which certifications do you carry, and can I run my own third-party inspection?
ISO 9001 for quality management, BSCI for social compliance, CE for European market access. We also hold multiple design patents for proprietary blank technologies. SGS, Intertek, TÜV, or your own inspectors are welcome at any stage — we cover the site fee for third-party inspections booked before production begins.
Which brands do you currently manufacture for?
Every project is under NDA, so we can't publish client names on a public page. What we can do: arrange a factory visit or a live video walkthrough where you'll see production lines running, and provide references directly after we sign a mutual NDA. In practice, most buyers ask for this after the first sample lands.
Can we visit the factory, or arrange a live video tour?
Yes. Book a date and we'll arrange transport from Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport (HGH — a 20-minute drive). Can't fly in? We run live walk-through calls, no script, in English or Chinese — point the camera at whichever station you want to see, from carbon rolling to final packaging.
